A case is described of â€œchronic benign neutropeniaâ€ in a female infant 8 months of age. The peripheral blood constantly showed a marked, selective neutropenia; the bone marrow was characterized by only a slight degree of increase in young neutrophils, as contrasted with a low normal percentage of polymorphonuclears.
